Our project started on a bad foot with a disreputable contractor who took a large deposit, did the demo on the bathroom and then walked on the project. We were so fortunate that John was willing to come in and take it over - his professionalism, commitment to quality, and superb project management skills were totally opposite of our first experience and the end result was a beautiful bathroom!

Texas Remodelers & Builders will probably not be the cheapest quote you might get, but the end result is worth every penny! John knows what he is doing, has great workmen, and at times was able to guide us in making some key decisions that we would have regretted if we'd not taken his advice.

If you have work to be done in your home, you cannot do better than Texas Remodelers. We decided to undertake major renovation in several phases of our newly purchased home-- ceiling replacement, interior painting throughout, update kitchen (including cabinets), including adding gas line to enable use of a gas cooktop, master bath counters and painting, and flooring. A big job but John and his crew handled it magnificently. He was cooperative and innovative-with many good suggestions. He was cognizant of increased costs due to our many "mind changes" on work to be done, and was always careful to thoroughly discuss with us. The work itself was flawless, and he brought the project in well within the time frame available. Absolutely the best experience we've ever had with home repairs/renovation.

Working with John and his crew was easy. Good input, but listened to what we wanted. Timely and extremely high quality work. Painters were meticulous in painting old cabinets and the new vanities are beautiful. Cleaned up everyday and went above and beyond on expectations. They came as a referral from several neighbors and I've referred them already.

Five stars are not enough. We have done many home improvement projects in our 30 year old home and could not be more impressed and pleased with John and Aaron. We did a complete kitchen remodel including moving walls. They were a little slow getting the estimate to us, but it became clear it was due to their attention to detail and wanting to get an estimate that wouldn't need to escalate up during construction for "unknown issues ". They were in constant communication with us during all phases of our project. They were always on our property before their sub contractors and would walk the subs in and introduce each one. All their subs were professional and easy to communicate with. The final product is amazing.

Five stars are not enough! They were wonderful from start to finish. At a time when it was hard to even get a call back from a contractor, they called back. Like other contractors, they were booked solid with projects and couldn't give an exact timeline, but said that they would work their way to me. And they did! Richard was the contractor for my project and was awesome. He stayed on top of everything and always had the best advice. Richard had a good relationship with the sub-contractor that has worked with them for years and they worked well together. I was very pleased with the crew and the work done. I can't imagine a better company than Texas Remodelers & Builders.

I had a wonderful experience with Texas Remodelers and Builders. They were friendly, worked hard, did great work and finished a ton in just two weeks. I appreciate the detail and care John Hamby took to communicate and ensure they met my expectations. Our formal living room was very open and they closed in the walls to make a formal office and added a gorgeous custom barn door. It's so beautiful my friends keep asking who did it. They removed carpet, tile, and wood and replaced it with luxury vinyl plank flooring, adding extra trim to baseboards and painting it for a professional look. Quality work, completed on time. Major remodel including kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring and painting throughout. Texas Remodelers did a fantastic job for us. They painted nearly the entire house which included crown moldings and built-ins. They also re-stained the kitchen cabinets. Additionally they installed 40 LED lights in our ceilings.
The house is 4000 square feet so the task was extensive. The crew worked tirelessly for eleven days straight to accommodate the needs of our quadriplegic son.
The island in the kitchen needed additional work which they graciously stained three times.
The work was done well, the workers were professional and courteous and never made us feel like asking for a little more was a problem.
They cleaned up each night before leaving and on the last day, they cleaned the house completely.

They were on-time and stayed within our budget. The attention to detail, particularly in the cabinetry, was remarkable. Our kitchen cabinets and granite countertops were built in 2005 and look the same as when they were put in.

We had 3 bathrooms remodeled by Texas Remodelers and Builders, which included 2 complete remodel (master bath and Jack/Jill) and 1 minor updating of guest bath. This is our first remodeling experience and John Hamby and his crew made every effort to accommodate our needs and requests. We relied on John's advise for details and very happy of the outcome. John responded promptly and communicated well, and his attention to details was really good. We also noticed that Texas Remodelers used higher end product than other contractors when we comapared the estimates and asked specific questions. They installed frameless glass showers and completely replaced floors on two bathroom, changed countertops to quartz and painted cabinets on all 3 bathroom. We actually had to change painter (from different paint company) to John's crew as we did not like the original work. John's crew completely removed wall paper before painting, which original paint person could not do. Major part of renovation was completed less than 2 weeks, just couple of hours for installing glass showers later and some paint work due to change of painter along the way. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the work done and the outcome. Also, John went beyond as a contractor as to helping us manage the house while we were away during renovation, and it is very much appreciated. Bottom line, he can really be trusted for the quality of work he provides.

This is the fourth company we've hired to do various remodeling projects (replacing flooring, master bath remodel, kitchen remodel). If you have work to be done in your home, you cannot do better than Texas Remodelers. We decided to undertake major renovation in several phases of our newly purchased home-- ceiling replacement, interior painting throughout, update kitchen (including cabinets), including adding gas line to enable use of a gas cooktop, master bath counters and painting, and flooring. A big job but John and his crew handled it magnificently. He was cooperative and innovative-with many good suggestions. He was cognizant of increased costs due to our many "mind changes" on work to be done, and was always careful to thoroughly discuss with us. The work itself was flawless, and he brought the project in well within the time frame available. Absolutely the best experience we've ever had with home repairs/renovation.

Quality work, completed on time. Major remodel including kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring and painting throughout. Very helpful with ideas, considerate of the fact that we didn't move out during this project, keeping one sink hooked up while replacing another, kept one bathroom useable while tearing out another etc. Kept the project moving forward and completed in just over 4 weeks as projected. The best word I can use to describe Texas Remodelers & Builders is Trustworthy. John Hamby and company did an outstanding job remodeling my 2 bathrooms that was so badly needed due to water damage. I was searching for a fair price, top quality work, and to be done quickly - all of that was delivered and more. I did not have to worry about a thing as they are 100% committed to excellence. John even picked out all the materials for me as I am super busy and it was during this current pandemic. The results are beautiful, new "spa-like" bathrooms. Texas Remodelers did a fantastic job for us. They painted nearly the entire house which included crown moldings and built-ins. They also re-stained the kitchen cabinets. Additionally they installed 40 LED lights in our ceilings.

The house is 4000 square feet so the task was extensive. The crew worked tirelessly for eleven days straight to accommodate the needs of our quadriplegic son.
The island in the kitchen needed additional work which they graciously stained three times.

The work was done well, the workers were professional and courteous and never made us feel like asking for a little more was a problem.

They cleaned up each night before leaving and on the last day, they cleaned the house completely.

Five stars are not enough! They were wonderful from start to finish. At a time when it was hard to even get a call back from a contractor, they called back. Like other contractors, they were booked solid with projects and couldn't give an exact timeline, but said that they would work their way to me. And they did! Richard was the contractor for my project and was awesome. He stayed on top of everything and always had the best advice. Richard had a good relationship with the sub-contractor that has worked with them for years and they worked well together. I was very pleased with the crew and the work done. I can't imagine a better company than Texas Remodelers & Builders.
